How is Heiracle’s Dian Cui jewelry made? ✨

Dian Cui Stud Earrings – Fan Sterling Silver
Handcrafted with naturally shed peacock feathers using the traditional Dian Cui technique, these fan-shaped stud earrings (1.18 × 0.79 in) are set in sterling silver. The layered feathers shimmer between blue and green under the light, making each piece one of a kind.

What is Dian Cui?
Dian Cui is a thousand-year-old Chinese jewelry craft once reserved for royalty. It was used to create empress crowns with the vivid blue feathers of kingfishers. As kingfishers became rare and protected, the craft nearly disappeared, with most works now preserved in museums.
At Heiracle, we revive this heritage by using naturally shed peacock feathers with the same traditional inlay techniques, creating jewelry that carries both beauty and legacy.
