It is the kind of piece I grab when my outfit feels too plain. One ring, and suddenly the whole look has more intention. The Ascent version feels different from the rest.
I did not expect to like it this much. The Ascent version feels different from the rest.
I was looking for something with more personality than a regular alexandrite ring, and this fits that perfectly. The emerald cut alexandrite gives it a clear point of view, so it does not feel like another basic stone setting. I also like how the color changes in a way you notice during the day instead of only under one perfect light. The silver tone keeps it easy to wear, and the adjustable band makes it less stressful as a gift. It feels bold, but still very wearable.
Honestly, I thought it might be too much from the photos. In person it still has presence, but the rhodium-plated silver makes it look clean rather than overly dramatic. The Ascent version feels different from the rest.
This one has personality right away.
