I like it most under warm indoor light. The Lucent Halo version feels different from the rest.
I did not expect the adjustable band to matter as much as it does. It lets me move the ring around depending on what else I am wearing, which makes the statement style easier to use. The halo detail is visible without feeling cheap, and the stone has a nice little shift under indoor light. I also appreciate that the setting is nickel-free sterling silver with rhodium plating. Overall it feels special, but not fussy.
I put it on with a plain sweater and it did all the work. The halo detail gives it enough personality, and the alexandrite does that teal-to-plum shift when the light changes. The Lucent Halo version feels different from the rest.
Honestly, it just looks cool.
The teal-to-plum change is subtle but real.
